Good Riddance!

I don't know about you, but August is my least favorite month of the year. There are no major holidays, the weather is extremely hot (when you're already ready for Fall, it makes the hot weather even worse!), school starts back (what happened to starting back to school after Labor Day?), and it just seems to drag on FOR.EV.ERRRRRR...

So, that's why I'm happy to say good riddance to August!!! See you in another 12 months--months that are way more fun because they actually consist of birthdays, holidays, family gatherings, awesome weather, and basically just something to look forward to!

I can't say it enough...come on, Fall!!!!

I want a baby!!!!

There, I said it....So now you know.

I really, really, really, really x1000 want to be a mom. I cannot even look at baby clothes or baby pictures or even hear the words "baby" or "onesie" or "pump" or "crawl" without getting sad.

I'm 28 years old and have been married a little over six years and I feel like I have been waiting for.ev.er. My hubby and I are waiting until he finished his undergrad to start a family (2 more years--which also seems like for.ev.er). I know in my head that we have made the right decision, but in my heart, there is a baby-shaped hole. And it's been there for at least four years now---and today I'm just having sort of a hard time with it.

So if you are praying person, and you happen to think about me today, please send up a little prayer.

Many thanks!
Love, Stacey

Mondays call for coffee...

and coffee calls for cute mugs! (<-- ok, well I meant to post this yesterday, but I didn't have time!)

Here are some I found while browsing on etsy.com today. If I had the cash on hand, all of these would be on their way to my house right now....

Ok, now I want some more coffee :)

mark schultz - you are a child of mine

Heard this song on Pandora today and just thought I would share. We all need to hear this from time to time!

Sneak Peek!

Check it out...

I made this cute braided suede bracelet and beaded wrap bracelet and wore them all day yesterday with my Levi's boyfriend jeans and a vintage-looking GI-Joe tee...

They are so light and comfortable, I barely knew they were there!

I will make more of these to sell, but I think I will keep these for myself :)

More to come...

Today I am...

...Working (while listening to my current fav Brit girls: Joss Stone, Adele, and Ellie Goulding) :)

...Eating these Whole Grain Pita Chips that are seriously THA BOMB! (I know you are thinking, "Who says that anymore? I haven't heard that since middle/high school." Yeah, well they are good and that's the only way to describe them!) Umm, as you can see, they are almost gone.

...and I'm getting inspired! I found these lovelies today and I am going to try my hand and making simular items for my etsy shop.

Grand re-opening will be September 5th...Hope to see you then!

Welcome to the World!

I am taking a break from my hiatus (I know, that statement is a total oximoron) to announce to you that my sister has safely delivered her baby boy!

My newest nephew, Tyson Allen, was born on August 4th at 4:41pm and was 8 lbs, 5 oz, and 22 inches.

Mother and baby are doing awesome and all is well!

And my sister's 4 yr old daughter, Alyssa, is loving her new role as the Big Sister! She will not hardly take her eyes (or hands) off him and loves to "help"!

But, she did let go of him long enough for Aunt Stacey to hold him :)

That's all for now...the hiatus continues!!!
